No one needs to tell the New York Jets fanbase that the NFL betting world isn’t high on their chances next season.

After a 3-14 season that saw multiple changes at the quarterback position and several coach overhauls, the league has good reason to suspect Gang Green won’t be much better in 2026.

Just how bad is the league expecting the Jets to be? The first slate of Jets odds for Super Bowl LXI is out, and the team has a long way to go before it can assume competent status.

Jets’ Super Bowl odds rank dead last

According to FanDuel Sportsbook, the Jets have the worst odds to appear and even win Super Bowl LXI in Los Angeles. The current odds sit at +25000 — worse than the Arizona Cardinals, Tennessee Titans, and Las Vegas Raiders.

The following list constitutes the bottom eight teams:

T25. Cleveland Browns +12500

T25. Las Vegas Raiders +12500

T27. Tennessee Titans +15000

T27. Carolina Panthers +15000

29. New Orleans Saints +17500

T30. Arizona Cardinals +22500

T30. Miami Dolphins +22500

32. New York Jets +25000

It’s significant for more than one reason as well. Both the Cardinals and Titans are coached by former Jets. Robert Saleh is leading the team in Nashville, hoping to field a more competitive roster in 2026. Mike LaFleur, the Jets’ former offensive coordinator, is now leading the Cardinals franchise with even less of an answer at quarterback than New York.

Even the Raiders, the organization that finished with a worse record than the Jets last season, have better odds than the Jets.

There’s a good reason why the league isn’t high on the Jets, especially before the offseason even begins. New York doesn’t have an answer at quarterback, and their defense was among the worst in the NFL.

Until the organization adds talent, a lack of respect will be rampant for the team.

Are +25000 odds fair, though? Until the New York Jets prove otherwise, it’ll be more of the same across the board.
