SEATTLE — Super Bowl championship merchandise is flying off the shelves as Seattle Seahawks fans rush to commemorate the team’s title win.

Fans have been streaming into the Seahawks Pro Shop at Lumen Field and to retailers across the region, including Dick’s Sporting Goods and Simply Seattle, to get their hands on newly released championship gear.

Among the most sought-after items is the Super Bowl champions T-shirt worn by players and coaches during postgame celebrations. One men’s version of the shirt was priced at about $66 after taxes, according to shoppers at the Pro Shop.

By lunchtime Monday, many sizes of that design were already sold out at the stadium store. Employees said restocks are expected later this week, though exact timing remains uncertain. At Lumen Field, chants of “Sea-hawks! Sea-hawks!” echoed as fans continued celebrations following the team’s Super Bowl victory.

“This is what victory feels like,” one fan said.

Others described the physical toll of celebrating the night before.

Still, that didn’t stop fans — known as the “12s” — from lining up to purchase championship merchandise.

“Times like this you can’t replace,” one parent said while shopping with a child. “That’s why we’re down here today. Keeping him out of school after the greatest game in Super Bowl history. We had to come by the stadium first and get the essentials.”

Another shopper said they purchased five shirts, one hoodie and two baseball caps. Retailers across the region have responded to the surge in demand. Dick’s Sporting Goods opened early to accommodate fans eager to buy Seahawks gear.

“We are shopping for Seahawks gear because they won the Super Bowl,” one customer said.

At the Simply Seattle warehouse, employees worked to keep up with orders as new designs went into production.

“We’ve been overwhelmed with demand, which is incredible,” said Jake Smidt, vice president of product at Simply Seattle.

The company plans to release six different championship designs, printed on thousands of shirts, that will be available both in stores and online.

“It’s not every year you get to celebrate a championship,” Smidt said. “We want to make sure people have fun new designs to celebrate the win for a long time.”

Fans say the championship represents more than just a win on the field.

Several Pro Shop employees said they are unsure when additional inventory will arrive. Some viewers reported that the Seahawks Pro Shop pop-up at Tacoma Mall has more merchandise available. Fans can also check the Pro Shop location at Renton Landing.
