After two seasons, how would you rate the six quarterbacks taken in the 2024 NFL Draft’s first round?

You recall Caleb Williams was selected No. 1 overall by the Bears, Jayden Daniels No. 2 by the Commanders, Drake Maye No. 3 by the Patriots, Michael Penix Jr. No. 8 by the Falcons, J.J. McCarthy 10th by the Vikings and Bo Nix was selected in the No. 12 position by the Broncos.

Former Redskins head coach Jay Gruden was asked to rank them while a guest on Grant & Danny on 106.7 The Fan in Washington, D.C., on Monday. Host Grant Paulsen asked Gruden, “As an evaluator, as an offensive coach, I want your take on this. We talked about this before the draft and shortly after and at the end of last year. So, in terms of the 2024 class, and the ‘Big 4’ so to speak, which is Caleb, Maye, Daniels and Nix. How would you rank them in terms of betting on them in terms of moving forward?”

Gruden’s mind hasn’t changed.

“I am still on Jayden 1, Caleb 2, Maye 3 and Nix 4,” expressed Gruden. “That’s how I would rank them still. I’m not just saying this because I am on the radio station with you guys. But I just love Jayden’s talent, his ability to throw the ball, his accuracy, his poise, his ability to run. Obviously we got to fix the injury things, which hopefully is fixable and doesn’t happen anymore. But from a talent standpoint, if I’m starting my team tomorrow, and I have a chance to get either one of those four guys, I’m going Jayden 1, Caleb 2, Drake 3 and Bo 4.”
