The football offseason is officially here, kicked off by the Seattle Seahawks’ dismantling of the New England Patriots in Super Bowl LX on Sunday evening. Now, with both college and the NFL in the offseason, it’s time to look forward, whether that means to spring football, free agency, or the NFL draft.
For some, it means looking ahead to next season and trying to make a buck while forecasting what may come. For these people, FanDuel Sportsbook has the early betting lines for a few major awards in 2027, chief among them the NFL MVP award.
It just so happens that a pair of former Oregon Ducks are near the top of the list when it comes to MVP odds.
According to FanDuel, Los Angeles Chargers QB Justin Herbert is fifth on the list of MVP adds, listed at +1100. Herbert is tied with Patrick Mahomes for fifth-best in the league. Not far down the list is Denver Broncos quarterback Bo Nix, who has +3500 odds to win the MVP award in his third year in the NFL. Nix has the 15th-best odds, tied with Philadelphia Eagles QB Jalen Hurts.
The top player on the odds board at the moment is Buffalo Bills QB Josh Allen (+650), followed by Baltimore Ravens QB Lamar Jackson (+700) and New England Patriots QB Drake Maye (+850).
