Imagine if the Giants surrounded Jaxson Dart with three quarterback gurus whose résumés include time working with Peyton Manning, Joe Burrow, Matthew Stafford, Justin Herbert, Lamar Jackson, Patrick Mahomes and Alex Smith.

It’s not a stretch after Brian Callahan, the former Bengals offensive coordinator and Titans head coach, interviewed Tuesday for the Giants quarterbacks coach vacancy. A hire is not considered imminent at this time as interviews continue.

Callahan previously was connected to the Giants offensive coordinator job before it went to former Bears head coach and Chiefs offensive coordinator Matt Nagy. The Giants then added former Ravens and Chargers offensive coordinator Greg Roman as a senior offensive assistant.

It’s clear that the new head coach John Harbaugh is trying to build a village of experienced offensive minds for Dart.

Callahan has never worked with Harbaugh, Nagy or Roman, but comes with stamps of approval. Callahan drew rave reviews from Manning as a young assistant with the Broncos, then was Stafford’s quarterbacks coach with the Lions, then spent five seasons as non-play-calling offensive coordinator for Bengals head coach Zac Taylor and was on the ground floor in the development of Burrow.

Not to mention Callahan is the son of highly regarded Falcons offensive line coach and former Raiders head coach Bill Callahan.

The younger Callahan was tapped to be Titans head coach in 2024, but constant turmoil within the front office and too many losses (4-19) amounted to a quicker-than-expected firing and an abbreviated chance to call plays for 2025 No. 1 draft pick Cam Ward.

Dart is excited about the staff that the Giants are building, especially after talking to Chiefs star Travis Kelce about Nagy.

“The amount of people who reached out to me when the news broke and had exceptionally high things to say about him and his character and the coach that he is makes me very, very excited for the future and the opportunity to play for him,” Dart told The Post last week.
