Tom Brady made an appearance on Logan Paul’s Impaulsive podcast to promote the upcoming flag football tournament in Riyadh that they’ll be participating in. The conversation got a little bit heated when it came to ego.

Paul has been competing as a WWE wrestler for several years now and even has some boxing experience under his belt. But Brady was unimpressed by Paul’s repeated gloating, calling his WWE moveset “cute” but not on-par with what NFL players are capable of.

“I’m actually a little worried for you because you’re a good athlete but these guys are on another level,” Brady said.

“Haha, I am the highest level, I am the level,” Paul replied.

“No, you’re not the level. You’re a good athlete but honestly when I’m thinking of Saquon Barkley and I’m thinking of Odell Beckham,” Brady said back.

“Can Saquon Barkley do a flip off the top rope, a 180 moonsault off the top rope?” Paul asked.

“It’s cute, I love WWE, it’s very cute, but this is real football, real competition… Let’s see if you can bring it,” Brady responded.

Taking to X after the podcast to address the now-viral clip, Brady said that while he thinks Paul has the right attitude to compete with so many NFL superstars in flag football, it remains to be seen if Paul can “dominate” the way he says he can.

“I hope people understand the level of competition this game is going to be. If you’re on my team you’re going to be locked in, all out, and we’re going to not just win… but dominate. I do think @loganpaul has the right attitude and the effort will be there. How far that gets him will remain to be seen,” Brady wrote.

NFL fans were dismissive of Paul’s boasting, pointing out that he couldn’t possibly be dumb enough to gloat in front of a seven-time Super Bowl champion.

“Can you imagine how narcissistic and deluded one must be to talk this way to a guy who won SEVEN (expletive) Super Bowls?!?! Oh my god,” one user remarked.

“Don’t worry Tom. Not a single soul on this app is taking Logan Paul seriously,” wrote another.

“Maybe the most annoying part of this entire situation is people falling for it again. Logan makes a career out of creating ridiculous situations where people hate on him. All a script like always,” a third wrote.

“Sir, WWE isn’t real. I believe that’s a lot of it. When we were kids, Mr. Rogers took us to the Land of Make-Believe in the trolley and when the trolley came back to the real world, he told us it was all pretend.”

Logan Paul is a solid athlete – there’s no denying that. He’s capable of feats of athleticism that most people his age can’t and never will.

But not everyone who is good at one thing is good at another.

Paul will get his chance to silence his doubters in due time.
