@WeaponNext asks, “How does the Super Bowl afterparty work for the acts that perform? Are they scheduled by the team and go on win or lose? Or do they get sent to the winning team’s celebration?”
A: Those Super Bowl afterparties are way too big of operations to not be planned well in advanced. That means both teams, win or lose, have them set up well ahead of time, and the show goes on, win or lose. The Seahawks celebrated this year at a party that included performances by Ludacris and T-Pain, while, according to media reports, the Patriots’ party included Post Malone, 21 Savage and Nelly. And while it might be tough for fans to picture a team and staff and friends and family to be attending a big party after a Super Bowl loss, it’s worth remembering that, win or lose, that day marks the end of a really long season, and a successful one that is worth celebrating, even if the game didn’t go that team’s way.
