One of the biggest NFL Draft analysts had some high praise this week for a Spartan looking to be selected in the upcoming draft.
Mel Kiper Jr. of ESPN did a breakdown video this week on NFL Draft sleeper picks, and Spartans offensive lineman Matt Gulbin was featured. During the two-minute long segment, Kiper praised Gulbin and had some very positive remarks about the former Michigan State center.
Check out what Kiper had to say in the video below:
Gulbin was announced as a NFL Draft Combine invitee earlier this week, and is considered one of the top targets to be selected in April’s draft from Michigan State. He started 11 games for the Spartans this past season — his lone year with Michigan State after transferring from Wake Forest last offseason.
Currently, Gulbin is projected to be selected anywhere from the third to the fifth round in the upcoming NFL Draft. However, we shouldn’t be surprised if he moves further up the draft boards based on what Kiper had to say about him.
