The Micah Parsons/Dallas Cowboys saga continues, with Parsons trying to recruit Cowboys wide receiver George Pickens.
The Cowboys just slapped the franchise tag on Pickens so they can negotiate with him and keep him from becoming a free agent.
As many already know, Parsons was traded from the Cowboys to the Green Bay Packers just before the start of the 2025 season. The breakup between Cowboys owner Jerry Jones and Parsons became ugly.
Parsons wanted to stay with the Cowboys, but negotiations with Parsons’ agent (who is Pickens’ agent too) fell through. Now it appears Parsons is actively trying to recruit the wide receiver to join him in Green Bay.
While at the Pro Bowl a few weeks ago, Parsons approached Pickens about coming to Green Bay on his podcast, asking, “You ready to be that green and gold?” to which Pickens laughed.

Parsons had already recruited former Cowboys teammate Trevon Diggs to Green Bay after he was cut by the team, but he was later cut by the Packers as well.Â
With Pickens having had a very productive year for the Cowboys, accumulating almost 1,500 yards and nine touchdowns last season, he will likely stay in Dallas.
