Could not just one, but two former Tennessee football stars stay in-state and be selected by the Tennessee Titans in the upcoming 2026 NFL Draft?
According to Easton Freeze’s Mock Draft 1.0 on AtoZ, that may be the case. He has the Titans selecting cornerback Colton Hood and wide receiver Chris Brazzell this upcoming draft.
That may be a bit unrealistic, though. He has the Titans taking Hood in the second round with the 35th overall pick in the draft. However, Hood is widely considered not just a first-round pick, but a potential top-15 selection.
“… Hood became the feature DB in coverage this past season without Jermod McCoy healthy, and he stepped up in a big way,” Freeze wrote. “The 6’0″ 195lb corner showed what he can bring to the table for his next team at the Senior Bowl in January, and if he slips through the cracks of the first round, he could be the Titans’ top target on Day 2.”

Freeze has Brazzell going to the Titans in the third round with the 66th overall pick. Brazzell has appeared in occasional first-round mock drafts, but is more often considered a second or third round selection.
Hood, in his first year with the Vols, started in all 12 regular-season games. He recorded 50 tackles, 4.5 tackles for loss, an interception, forced fumble, fumble recovery and two touchdowns. He was named to the All-SEC Second-Team.
Brazzell had a breakout season as Joey Aguilar’s top option. He managed 1,017 yards and nine touchdowns on 62 receptions on the year. He was named a First-Team All-SEC and Third-Team All-American member.
Other Tennessee players expected to be drafted are cornerback Jermod McCoy and edge rusher Joshua Josephs. Tight end Miles Kitselman and defensive tackle Bryson Eason were both also invited to the NFL Scouting Combine.
