The Atlanta Falcons ended the 2025 season the same way they have for the last several years: in mediocrity. Despite having the best running back in the league and one of the better wide receivers in the NFC, the Dirty Birds finished with an 8-9 record, barely missing out on the NFC South title.
Even though they ended the season on a four-game winning streak, it came after the team had already been mathematically eliminated from the postseason, which led to second-year head coach Raheem Morris being fired and replaced by former Cleveland Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski. Not to mention, sophomore quarterback Michael Penix tore his ACL nine games into the season.
So, despite flashes of an excellent team throughout the season, the Falcons still have plenty of room to grow, and it starts in the 2026 NFL Draft.

Top 5 Offensive Players for the Atlanta Falcons in the NFL Draft
Last season, Bijan Robinson cemented himself as one of the most versatile and best offensive weapons in the NFL. However, despite his heroic efforts, the Falcons finished 24th in EPA per play, just in front of the Los Angeles Chargers, and right behind the Houston Texans, two teams that we saw meltdown (offensively) in the postseason.
With that in mind, let’s focus on the prospects on offense that the Falcons should focus on in the NFL Draft.
KC Concepcion
Since the Falcons traded their 2026 first-round pick to the Los Angeles Rams as part of a package to get James Pearce Jr., they will have to wait until day two of the draft to make their first pick. Meaning they won’t be able to get the blue-chip prospect they desperately need. However, there are still some good players they can target in the middle of the second round and beyond.
One of their needs is another star pass catcher outside of Drake London. KC Concepcion, the speedster from Texas A&M, definitely fits that mold. The speedster led the Aggies in receiving yards and touchdowns. While he’s not quite the physical specimen that is London (who is), he’s a good deep threat that could stretch the defense, while London can work the middle of the field.
KC Concepcion is a name to know in the 2026 class 🔥
✅ Freshman breakout
✅ Elite after the catch
✅ Slippery route runner

He may not fall to the second round, but if he does, the Falcons will have to think long and hard about whether they should take him.
Eli Stowers
After several disappointing seasons, Kyle Pitts finally lived up to the hype and had his best season since his rookie year. However, it came a little too late, as he’ll be a free agent who may want to test the market this offseason. Just in case he does leave, the Falcons may want to replace him.
Vanderbilt’s Eli Stowers may be there in the second round or third round if teams don’t see value in his talent. Stefanski has a history of feeding his star tight ends. Just this past season, rookie tight end Harold Fannin Jr. was arguably the Browns’ best pass catcher. Stowers can be asked to play that same role in a much more talented offense.
Isaiah World
The Falcons require some more depth at tackle since Elijah Wilkinson is an unrestricted free agent for the 2026 season, and Kaleb McGary is coming off an injury that kept him off the field for the entire season. Jake Matthews is the only stalwart the Falcons have at the tackle position.
Isaiah World, out of Oregon, is an experienced tackle who should be in real consideration as the Falcons’ first pick. Under the tutelage of legendary offensive line coach Bill Calahan, World can become a star like Matthews.
Mike Washington
Another unrestricted free agent for the Falcons is backup running back Tyler Allgier. Fantasy players may know him well since he was stealing touchdowns from Robinson all season. Unlike Robinson, Allgier is more of a downhill back who likes to go through defenders instead of around them.
Mike Washington, out of Arkansas, is a physical back who can plow through defenders like Allgier. At 6’2”, 223 pounds, he’s more than ready to step in, get some goal-line carries, and give Robinsons a rest when he’s not on the field.

Gennings Dunker
As mentioned earlier, the Falcons need some depth at tackle, and the University of Iowa is a factory for them. Gennings Dunker is a massive lineman who excels in run blocking and could help Bijan have excellent rushing seasons for years to come.
Not to mention, just look at the hair on this guy! Who wouldn’t want those precious locks on their team?
