AJ Brown appeared to shed some light on his immediate future by attending his youth football camp in Philadelphia Eagles colors.
The 2025 season was a difficult campaign for Brown. The 28-year-old is a three-time Pro Bowler and three-time All-Pro, who is set to enter his eighth season in 2026 — but it is unclear with which team.
Brown has been linked to a trade for some time, particularly after something of a down year in a struggling Eagles offense. He finished with 78 receptions for 1,003 yards and seven touchdowns as the Eagles crashed out of the playoffs in the Wild Card round.

For now, Brown’s future is tied to Philadelphia. He signed a three-year, $96 million extension in April 2024 and is under contract through 2029.
But he has publicly criticized the Eagles’ offense and coaching staff recently, leading to trade rumors. He wore a New York Giants T-shirt, and the Buffalo Bills have been linked with a move; Buffalo owns picks No. 26, 60, and 91 in April’s draft, giving the team assets to consider a deal.
However, on Saturday, 94WIP.com shared on social media news about Brown’s annual youth football camp, which may have revealed his future. The post read: “AJ Brown announces another year of his youth football camp.
“Noteworthy to me, he is in an Eagles uniform, the camp is in Allentown and it says ‘FlyEaglesFly.’”
Images of Brown in Eagles attire likely provided much-needed relief for Philadelphia fans. It seems the receiver’s heart remains in the City of Brotherly Love, for now at least.

Following the loss to the 49ers, Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni was asked about his sideline scuffle with Brown in the second quarter. He downplayed the incident, telling reporters: “I was trying to get him off the field because we were about to punt, and that was really it. So I love A.J. I think he knows how I feel about him. I have a special relationship with him.
“We probably went through every emotion you can possibly have together. We’ve laughed together. We’ve cried together. We’ve yelled at each other. You know, we’re both emotional. I was trying to get him off the field. And, you know, that happens in this game. That happens in this game.”
Brown has generally thrived since he arrived in Philadelphia via trade in 2022. Alongside quarterback Jalen Hurts, the duo have dominated as the Eagles stormed to Super Bowl glory after the 2024 season, blowing out the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LIX.
For now, Brown appears ready to stay in Philadelphia. But the receiver is open to flirting with new opportunities coming off a down year, and if the Eagles get an appropriate offer, he’ll suit up with a different jersey for his next youth football camp.
