The Indianapolis Colts have reportedly made two more additions to their defensive coaching staff.

This comes after it was reported that Marion Hobby will be the Colts‘ new defensive line coach. Hobby worked previously with Lou Anarumo in Cincinnati.

According to ESPN’s Pete Thamel, Jeremy Bruce will be joining the Colts as a defensive quality control coach.

He most recently was the outside linebackers coach at UNLV. Before joining UNLV, Bruce spent time at Kentucky, SMU, Oregon State, Fresno State, and Wyoming. His coaching background is rooted in the defensive line position group.

Dillon Doyle is the other addition to the Colts’ defensive coaching staff, which he announced on X. Doyle will also be a defensive quality control coach.

Doyle worked in Buffalo last season under head coach Sean McDermott.

The Colts’ defense in 2025 ranked 21st in scoring and 23rd in yards per game surrendered, particularly struggling down the stretch of the season.

Addressing the defense this offseason will seemingly be a top priority for GM Chris Ballard.
