The Tennessee Titans made a splash when they hired Robert Saleh as their next head coach, and the positive comments about the hire continue to roll in.
The latest to voice his approval is Hall of Fame quarterback Steve Young, who is quite familiar with Saleh from his time with the San Francisco 49ers. While serving as a coach in the Pro Bowl, Young shared his opinion of Saleh and the importance of adding Brian Daboll to help develop Cam Ward.

“He has a super dynamic personality, and he really understands people,” Young said. “And I think he’s learned a ton. In my mind, he is so much better of a coach because he went to the (New York) Jets. I love Robert, and I think he’s going to be great.”
Young’s comments about Saleh, especially his growth as a coach since his time in New York, should bode well for the Titans and be music to fans’ ears after suffering through recent seasons of misery. During his introductory press conference, he showed that personality, seemed to inspire everyone in the room, and, most importantly, came across as authentic.
Time will tell whether Saleh was the right hire, but heading into his first offseason in Nashville, his presence is inspiring and has helped create buzz around the Titans.
