Finley, a former NFL tight end, spent the past five years at Oklahoma as the Sooners’ co-offensive coordinator and, most recently, tight ends coach. Roberts was previously the co-offensive coordinator at Long Island University and Skierski was South Alabama’s tight ends coach. 

Texas State just released its full 2026 schedule, which includes its Pac-12 conference games. The Bobcats will open the season against the Texas Longhorns at Royal-Memorial Stadium. The rest of their nonconference slate includes three straight home matchups against UTSA, North Texas and Incarnate Word.Â
