Owner Jane Lim told Community Impact Seoulside Wings is now offering Korean comfort food in Jersey Village. The eatery is in its soft opening stages and is planning to hold its grand opening on Feb. 21 at noon.
The details
During the grand opening, Seoulside Wings plans to offer giveaways featuring items such as tote bags, T-shirts, key chains and gift cards.
Founded as a food truck in 2019, Lim said the eatery started in Korea Town in Spring Branch and has participated in several local events including Freedom Over Texas and the annual Houston Korean festival.
“We actually started right before the pandemic, and we served food consistently. That’s really how we built our first following,” Lim said.
After years of serving the Houston area, Lim decided to open up a brick and mortar in Jersey Village while continuing to offer catering services with its food truck. Located at the former Ugly Donuts & Corn Dogs, Lim said she plans to continue offering Korean corn dogs with her own recipe.
