Pro Football Focus released its initial list of the top 101 players from the 2025 NFL season, and included were two Jacksonville Jaguars’ defenders, along with Trevor Lawrence.

The complete list hasn’t been revealed yet, but PFF has announced the first 60 players on the countdown, and among them are safety Antonio Johnson and defensive end Josh Hines-Allen.

No. 53: S Antonio Johnson

As the season progressed, Johnson’s role expanded. He graded out well as a run defender by PFF’s metrics, held pass catchers to under 10 yards per reception this season, and came away with five interceptions and three pass breakups.

Throughout the season, Johnson lined up as a box defender, free safety, and in the slot. That versatility that Johnson possesses is an important element within Campanile’s defense, as it enhances that disguise component. Where quarterbacks see Johnson pre-snap, that may not be where he is post-snap.

His ability to fill a variety of roles adds a lot of flexibility to Campanile’s call sheet.

No. 49: DE Josh Hines-Allen

Hines-Allen was one of the most disruptive pass rushers in football last season. Among all defensive ends and defensive tackles, he totaled the second-most quarterback pressures with 95 during the regular season.

He also ranked eighth in PFF’s pass-rush win rate metric and was 14th in pass-rush productivity.

According to PFF, this was Hines-Allen’s third consecutive season with a pass rush grade of 80.0 or higher.

As PFF continues to unveil these rankings, we will surely see linebacker Devin Lloyd make an appearance at somepoint as well.
