Fans throughout the NFC East are afraid of what Jayden Daniels could do. The 25-year-old field general had a terrific rookie season where he led the Washington Commanders to an unlikely NFC Championship Game in 2024.

Expectations were high for the LSU alum ahead of his sophomore season, but injuries kept him out for more than half of the NFL season. He only suited up for Washington seven times last season, throwing for 1,262 yards, eight touchdowns and three picks.

Philadelphia Eagles fans might have been happy that they didn’t have to face Daniels once last year as he was injured during their regular-season duels. However, Eagles fans might be in for a fight next season as Daniels revealed the team he loved playing against on the road.

“I love Eagles fans,” Daniels said during the interview. “They just embody what Philly brings… Their environment is the closest things you can get to a college environment.”

He also added that playing division rivals gives him extra motivation.

“If you go out there and beat Philly, [it ‘s] a different type [of win]… as we’re rivals with them in the NFC in the east, so I love playing against them.”

Daniels put up solid numbers during the two divisional games he played against them in 2024. He threw for 449 yards, six touchdowns and three picks at a 64.8% completion rate.
