Kiel Fire Department Earns Green Bay Packers Foundation Grant

The Kiel Fire Department has been awarded a grant from the Green Bay Packers Foundation.

The $3,000 given will support the purchase of emergency vehicle extraction equipment, specifically a vehicle stabilization system that allows firefighters and paramedics to safely secure cars during serious crashes and rescue operations.

The fire department explains that proper stabilization is a critical first step in safely removing patients trapped following motor vehicle accidents, helping protect both patients and first responders.

The Kiel Fire Department and Ambulance Service respond to a wide range of emergencies throughout the community, including serious traffic crashes that require advanced rescue techniques.

The department finishes by extending its appreciation to the Green Bay Packers Foundation for its continued support of public safety organizations and communities across Wisconsin.
