To no surprise, neither Gus Bradley nor Brian Daboll broke any news during their introductory press conferences at the Tennessee Titans facility on Wednesday. Even when asked about specific players, both veteran coaches did what one would expect: they deflected the questions, noting multiple times that they are still in evaluation mode and that no decisions have been made.
One player who was neglected by the media in this availability was L’Jarius Sneed, which came as a surprise after hearing questions on players such as Cam Ward, Jeffery Simmons, Calvin Ridley, and T’Vondre Sweat. Sneed, who has been a major bust since being acquired, is often rumored to be a potential salary cap casualty, and his time in Nashville could be coming to an end.

The latest outlet to mention this potential move is ESPN, where Aaron Schatz lists Sneed as a player who could use a change of scenery.
Tennessee Titans – CB L’Jarius Sneed
Remember when Sneed was considered one of the league’s top cornerbacks while winning two Super Bowls with the Chiefs? He got a big payday with a trade to the Titans in 2024, but his two seasons with Tennessee have not gone as planned. Sneed has played in only 12 games because of quadriceps injuries, and he has had off-field legal issues. Since 2024, he has recorded 49 total tackles and zero sacks. A fresh start with a new team might be the thing to help Sneed get back to his glory days on the gridiron.
With other NFL franchises beginning to make some offseason roster moves by parting ways with some high-priced veterans, one has to wonder if and when the Titans could move on from Sneed. They do have the salary cap space to hold onto him while they work on building depth in their empty cornerback room, not to mention his injury status, which could complicate any decision.
With less than a month to the start of free agency, an answer on his future should be on the horizon.
