Every draft cycle, the NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis serves as one of the premier events of the pre-draft process. Not only does it provide crucial information on prospects’ measurables and athletic traits, but it also gives NFL teams their largest opportunity so far to meet individually with players in the upcoming class.

In addition to giving the top prospects the chance to solidify themselves into the ranks of the first-round, the Combine always gives a platform for underrated players with high-end athletic traits to rapidly ascend draft boards.

Obviously, there will be important information regarding many of the rumored top Titans’ draft targets coming out as the event goes on, but the real value comes in seeing what athletic “risers” might pop up on Tennessee’s Day-Two radar. In what is generally considered a weaker draft class overall, the opportunity for prospects to separate themselves from the masses is even more magnified.

Specifically keying into the Titans’ primary positions of need (cornerback, edge rusher and receiver), all three positions are among the strongest in the upcoming draft class. Owning both their second and third-round picks for the first time in recent years, Tennessee’s potential Day-Two pick options could realistically emerge from Indianapolis.
