Yet another former New Orleans Saints coach will be joining the Las Vegas Raiders coaching staff. On Thursday, the Raiders officially announced that they are adding Rick Dennison to their coaching staff. Dennison will come on board as the team’s new offensive line coach. He’ll rejoin Klint Kubiak, hired as the new Las Vegas head coach shortly after the Seattle Seahawks won Super Bowl LX. Both Kubiak and Dennison were on Seattle’s offensive staff this past season, their first year with the team.
Dennison, 67, was Seattle’s run game coordinator and senior offensive advisor in 2025. Prior to that, Dennison was a senior offensive assistant for the New Orleans Saints in 2024, serving in that role for one season. Klint Kubiak was the offensive coordinator for that 2024 Saints squad. Andrew Janocko, also hired from the Seahawks staff as the new offensive coordinator for the Raiders, was the New Orleans quarterback coach in 2024.
After the Saints hired Kellen Moore as head coach during the 2025 offseason, Dennison, Kubiak, and Janocko were all brought on to Seattle’s offensive staff. A shorthanded and injury-riddled Saints offense ranked 21st in total yards, 23rd in passing, and 14th in rushing under Kubiak, Janocko, and Dennison. Under Kellen Moore, New Orleans ranked 23rd in total yardage, 13th in passing production, and 28th in rushing yards during the 2025 campaign.
Rick Dennison was a linebacker for eight seasons with the Denver Broncos from 1982 to 1990, where he was a teammate of Gary Kubiak, Klint’s father. Upon retirement, Dennison worked as an offensive assistant under Gary Kubiak for several seasons before then working with Klint Kubiak for the last few years at different stops.
