The Tennessee Titans have a lot of work to do this offseason. As the new coaching staff solidifies its game plan for 2026, it will begin to entertain the idea of potential free agents to bring in when the free agency period opens on March 11. They’ll also have to decide if they want to keep any of their impending free agents.
CBS Sports’ Pete Prisco recently ranked the top 100 free agents in 2026, and there are two Tennessee Titans on his list.
TE Chig Okonkwo – No. 43
Okonkwo was arguably the most reliable target Cam Ward had in 2026. Elic Ayomanor struggled to rope in catches, Chimere Dike started getting it together in the second half of the season, and Gunnar Helm was okay. With Calvin Ridley injured, Tyler Lockett requesting a release, and a lack of production from Van Jefferson, Okonkwo did what needed to be done. He blocked, he ran, he caught passes, and he made it possible for the Titans’ offense to get down the field.
Okonkwo’s rookie contract is set to expire this year, making him a free agent. And, according to Prisco, he’s a top-50 free agent. Over his four years with the Titans, Okonkwo has recorded 194 receptions for 2,017 yards and eight touchdowns with just two fumbles. This is a player the Titans could very likely re-sign, but if he hits the market, it won’t be for long. Prisco says:

He flashes the ability to be a nice pass-catching tight end, but he hasn’t put up big numbers so far in his career, some of that because of bad quarterback play. At 26, teams like players who can create problems in the middle of the field, which could make him attractive on the market.
DE Sebastian Joseph-Day – No. 68
Joseph-Day is an eight-year NFL veteran defensive end. He joined the Titans in 2024 after spending some time on the West Coast with the Los Angeles Rams, the Los Angeles Chargers, and the San Francisco 49ers. You don’t hear his name often when the Titans are playing, but he’s on the field more often than he’s not. Through his two seasons with the Titans, Joseph-Day has recorded 85 tackles (40 solo), 4.5 sacks, one fumble recovery, one pass deflection, and 15.5 stuffs.
He may not be a household name, but he is a vital part of the Titans’ defensive line. If they let him go, they’ll need a plan to replace his production on defense. Prisco says:
He is a good veteran who would be a nice add as a spot starter-rotational player. He plays hard and does a nice job against the run.
