Is Pat McAfee going to be the next Sylvester Stallone?
One Hollywood agent is pushing for it. Stallone, known for iconic movie roles like “Rocky” and “Rambo,” is one of the most successful action movie stars of all-time. McAfee, a former NFL punter turned sports media personality, is starting to venture in the acting world.
McAfee had a role on Stallone’s “Tulsa King” show and he’s reportedly eyeing some major movie and TV show roles moving forward.
According to Bloomberg, McAfee recently signed with superagent Ari Emanuel, who wants to turn him into “the next Sylvester Stallone.”
McAfee has also landed a part in “The Mosquito Bowl,” which is a sports drama based on the book by Buzz Bissinger, who is the author of the famed “Friday Night Lights.”
But is McAfee really going to be the “next Sylvester Stallone” – fans are skeptical.
NFL fans skeptical of McAfee’s Hollywood plans
“We have collectively lost the plot as a country,” one fan wrote.
“Lets get serious please,” one fan added.
“Anyone else tired of Pat McAfee?” one fan added.
“Maybe he can be the next Stallone in the sense he barely speaks eligible English but I don’t know about movie star 😂😂🤣🤣 guest appearances sure but 0% chance that latter happens,” one fan added.
“We are about to reach never before seen levels of overexposure,” one fan added.
It feels like a major stretch, right?
