The contracts for five Buffalo Bills contracts have been voided with the team.

Void years are baked into contracts previously signed, which means all of these players were already essentially known to be free agents.

The idea is help spread out the player’s salary cap hit over a longer period. It helps at first but now the dead-cap hits for each of these individuals will count against Buffalo’s salary cap even though they are set to become free agents.

Those cap his can change if the player eventually re-signs with the Bills, which is still possible. Which now begs the question, who are the five?
