The NFL released its full 2025 regular-season schedule. We know the Arizona Cardinals’ schedule.
What we don’t readily know are their opponents’ schedules. In particular, it is good to know the teams their opponents play before and after their game against the Cardinals.

The Cardinals open the season against the New Orleans Saints, so there is no previous opponent, but let’s have a look at what teams the Saints face following their Week 1 showdown against Arizona.
New Orleans Saints 2025 regular-season schedule
Week 15: Sunday, Dec. 14, vs. Carolina Panthers, 3:25 p.m. CT, FOX
Week 18: Sunday, Jan. 4, at Atlanta Falcons, TBD
Cardinals-Saints game
As mentioned, because the Cardinals and Saints play one another in Week 1, there is no factor for their previous game. Their previous game will have been a preseason finale two weeks prior in which a bunch of non-starters played.
But it is kind of crazy to see that the Saints play NFC West opponents in their first three games of the season. In fact, the Saints are the previous opponents for both the 49ers and the Seahawks when they face the Cardinals in Weeks 3 and 4.

Looking at the Saints’ start to the season, an 0-4 start is a real possibility.
