The Denver Broncos are a few weeks removed from their devastating AFC Championship loss to the New England Patriots, and it’s time to move on and look toward NFL free agency and the draft.

There’s no guarantee that running back J.K. Dobbins will be re-signed, and even if he is, the Broncos might still look for another back to add to Sean Payton’s offensive system. Pro Football Focus writer Dalton Wasserman believes Seattle Seahawks pending free agent and current Super Bowl champion Kenneth Walker III could be a perfect fit.

Walker ran for over a thousand yards for the Seahawks and was a big part of their balanced attack. Wasserman believes Walker will change the dynamics of the Broncos’ offense, allowing them to play more effectively.

“The Super Bowl 60 MVP is likely to have a robust market this offseason,” Wasserman wrote for PFF. “Not only was his performance in the season’s final game outstanding, but his 91.5 PFF rushing grade this season led all qualified running backs. Including the postseason, he racked up the second-most missed tackles forced and explosive runs in the NFL.”

If the Broncos can land Walker, that would be a major upgrade for the offense. We will have to wait and see until March if it happens.
