Earlier today on The Morning Shift Mike Johnson, Beau Morgan, and Ali Mac were talking about which Atlanta Falcons player they think needs to make the biggest jump this upcoming season besides Michael Penix Jr., and explained why they think Bralen Trice could really make an impact on the Falcons defense this upcoming season and needs to have a big year with the uncertainty surrounding James Pearce Jr.

“Bralen Trice is a guy who, we’ve talked about the edge position, and talked about outside linebacker, and talked about Jalon Walker doing more things, unfortunately he’s had a couple of years where he hasn’t been healthy and hasn’t been able to make his impact felt on the field and so it’s a little bit loaded to say who needs to step up because I think he just simply needs to stay healthy and continue to develop, but I think that he’s a guy who could have that big impact from somebody we haven’t seen over the last couple years and somebody that we expected a bunch of coming out of the University of Washington, so I think he could be that guy.” Mike Johnson said

Until his legal situation fully plays it’s way too early to know or predict what James Pearce Jr.’s future will or won’t be with the Atlanta Falcons, so if Bralen Trice can stay healthy this season and prove why it was initially believed by many draft analysts that the Falcons stole Trice when they drafted him in the third round, 74th overall, in the 2024 NFL Draft, he would be a huge addition to the already promising young Falcons defensive core.
