The Tennessee Titans are moving forward under new head coach Robert Saleh and general manager Mike Borgonzi, and fans are hoping for a quick turnaround.

With new staff in place, it wasn’t much of a surprise for fans to see former coaches landing positions across the NFL, but on Monday, it was one of the team’s former general managers who found a new home.

NFL Insider Ian Rapoport broke the news that former Titans general manager Jon Robinson is being hired as their senior personnel executive under their new general manager, Jon-Eric Sullivan.

Robinson, who was the Titans’ general manager from 2016 to 2022, started off fast in Nashville, helping turn the Titans into a competitive, playoff-caliber team early in his tenure. But after the disastrous A.J. Brown trade and a string of missed early draft picks, Tennessee moved on, and Robinson was out of the league.

He has interviewed for several openings in recent coaching cycles, most notably with the Jacksonville Jaguars and the New York Jets, but has not landed a general manager role. Now, he will join the front office in Miami to add an experienced voice in their room.
