The New York Giants met with two promising cornerback prospects at the 2026 NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis.

Among them was LSU cornerback Mansoor Delane, with whom the Giants held a formal meeting.

Delane, a Maryland native, is widely projected as a first-round pick in the 2026 NFL draft. He earned unanimous first-team All-American honors in 2025 and was a finalist for the Jim Thorpe Award. Last season, Delane recorded two interceptions and 11 passes defended while allowing minimal production in coverage.

The Giants also conducted a formal meeting with Ohio State cornerback Davison Igbinosun.

As a senior at Ohio State, Igbinosun tallied two interceptions and eight passes defensed (some sources list six passes defensed for 2025). ESPN’s Mel Kiper included the 21-year-old as an honorable mention in his positional rankings on the 2026 NFL draft Big Board.

These meetings highlight the Giants’ interest in bolstering their secondary with high-upside talent from a strong cornerback class.
