The San Francisco 49ers are continuing their pre-draft evaluations along the offensive line. According to Justin Melo of Sports Illustrated, the 49ers are among several teams scheduled to hold an in-person meeting with former Memphis offensive tackle Travis Burke ahead of the 2026 NFL Draft.

Burke is widely projected as a Day 3 selection, viewed as a developmental prospect with the physical traits to grow into a reliable contributor at the next level.

Offensive line depth remains a priority for San Francisco. Beyond adding immediate competition, the 49ers must also identify a long-term successor to All-Pro left tackle Trent Williams, who will turn 38 before the 2026 season.

Burke (6-9, 315) has collegiate experience at Gardner-Webb, FIU, and Memphis, starting 45 career games, according to Pro Football Focus (PFF).

In 2025, Burke started 11 games at right tackle for Memphis before suffering a season-ending foot injury. He earned an 84.5 overall offensive grade, including an 84.2 run-blocking grade and an 81.5 pass-blocking grade from PFF. Across 765 offensive snaps (429 in pass protection), Burke allowed three sacks and 13 total pressures.
