Former Crimson Tide center Parker Brailsford reportedly met with two teams during his time in Indianapolis at the NFL combine. Brailsford, who transferred to Alabama when head coach Kalen DeBoer left Washington, met with the Houston Texans and Jacksonville Jaguars on Saturday morning. Brailsford ran a 4.95 at the combine, with former teammates Kadyn Proctor and Jaeden Roberts electing not to run the 40-yard dash.

The Jaguars aren’t hurting for an immediate starter on the offensive line, but Brailsford could be a good depth piece and eventual starter if the Jags pick him up during the 2026 NFL draft. Brailsford started all but one game during his time with the Crimson Tide, missing Alabama’s 56-0 victory over Eastern Illinois with an ankle injury, and was named SEC player of the week following the Tide’s 30-14 victory against Vanderbilt.
Â
The Houston Texans are a team in need of line help after what felt like a rough season for Quarterback CJ Stroud. The Texans are a team where we could see three potential Tide players go, given the amount of help needed to protect offensive weapons. Houston holds eight total picks in the NFL draft, while the Jacksonville Jaguars hold 11 total picks in 2026.
Â
The Texans traded offensive tackle Tytus Howard to the Cleveland Browns, and while Brailsford doesn’t play offensive tackle, his versatility on the interior of the offensive line (Brailsford started two games at guard for Washington in 2023) could allow the Texans to focus on shuffling the offensive line in other ways.
