The Tennessee Titans are making final preparations before NFL free agency kicks off next week and are narrowing their list of potential targets.

With multiple needs, the Titans have plenty of flexibility in how they approach roster retooling, but must come away with playmakers on both sides of the ball. One explosive playmaker who continues to get mentioned in connection with the Titans is Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Alex Pierce, who, after failing to be tagged by the Colts, is set to hit the free-agent market for the first time.

Pierce joined “Up & Adams” to discuss his situation with the Colts and potential landing spots, and to no surprise, the Titans came up.

“That’s a good spot, they’re close,” Pierce said with a smile. “They’ve got a young quarterback.”

While there wasn’t a lot to read into his answer, his demeanor said a lot in silence, and it should. The Titans can offer Pierce more than money; they can offer him a chance to be more than a deep-threat and develop into a go-to receiver with a young quarterback at the helm.
