The Oklahoma Sooners sent 10 out of their 16 draft-eligible players to the NFL combine last week, and it’s safe to say that the former Sooners impressed. However, only one player was named to the NFL’s All-Combine Team, which was released on Tuesday.

OU defensive back Robert Spears-Jennings put on a show during his combine day, turning in an impressive performance that clearly turned some heads. His highlight was a 4.32 time in the 40-yard dash, a very fast time for a player at the safety position.

Spears-Jennings is a local product from Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, and he spent all four of his collegiate seasons with the Sooners. He was a starter at safety for the final two seasons of his time in Norman, and he came back to help lead the Sooners to the College Football Playoff in 2025.

After finishing second on the team in tackles in 2024, Spears-Jennings was third on the team in tackles as a senior in 2025. He also represented the Sooners at SEC Media Days last summer, and served as a captain during this past season. He registered 178 tackles, eight TFLs, two and a half sacks, two interceptions, four pass breakups, and forced five fumbles during his time at Oklahoma.
