The Denver Broncos‘ left guard is entering the final year of his contract, and there had been speculation that he could be asked to restructure his contract or risk getting traded or cut.

Instead, the Broncos have informed Powers that they are not going to trade or release him, and they won’t ask him to take a pay cut, according to a report from KUSA-TV’s Mike Klis. So he is poised to remain in Denver as the team’s starting left guard this season.
