Many different parts of the NFL offseason schedule are coming up within the next few weeks, with the legal tampering period, free agency, and the draft all scheduled in the relatively near future. Every fanbase is currently trying to figure out what needs their team has, and whether or not they will fill them in free agency, or if they can wait for the draft. As for the New Orleans Saints, one name in particular has stood out for the draft, that being Jeremiyah Love.

Love has been widely regarded as a top option for the Saints by fans and media alike, but after an outstanding NFL Scouting Combine performance from the running back, he may have raised his stock outside the range of New Orleans at pick No. 8. This has been speculated for a few days now, but now there is some level of substantial proof of teams above the Saints having interest.

Football analyst Ryan Fowler recently reported that Love will be taking a top 30 visit with the Tennessee Titans, who currently are scheduled to pick at No. 4 in the draft.

While a top 30 visit does not quite mean the team is heavily invested as of yet, it does mean they view him as a viable option in the draft, and want to learn more about him to see what they would be getting by drafting him. It does show the Saints that there will be teams interested in him before their pick, though, and that they may be better suited signing a running back such as Travis Etienne Jr. or Kenneth Walker III, and then drafting at wide receiver or best player available that’s not an offensive tackle.

Love will no doubt be highly coveted, though, as will Sonny Styles, after their respective outstanding combine performances, which only adds to their perceived value as players. It will be fascinating to see where Love ends up being selected in the draft, as he is in a similar scenario as Ashton Jeanty was last year, who went a bit higher than anticipated.
