The Cincinnati Bengals are making a run at one of the best free agents to hit the market this year.

According to Charlie Clifford, the Bengals are pushing to sign Denver Broncos defensive tackle John Franklin-Myers.

Originally a fourth-round pick of the Los Angeles Rams in 2018, Franklin-Myers has developed into one of the better defensive linemen in football. His presence helped Denver become one of the league’s best defenses last season and make it to the AFC Championship Game.

Over the last two seasons in Denver, Franklin-Myers has 16 sacks (playoffs included), 18 QB hits, 96 total pressures, and 41 total run stops. He will turn 30 in September.
