NFL free agency is upon us and we expect the Pittsburgh Steelers to be very busy. Not only do the Steelers have more than $50 million cap space, they also have several in-house free agents who are looking to get paid. Legal tampering begins on Monday and teams are free to sign in-house free agents at any time.
We will keep you up to date on all the Steelers news, rumors and signings during this hectic time of year.

Pittsburgh kicked off free agency by re-signing cornerback Asante Samuel Jr. to a one-year, $4 million contract. Pittsburgh signed Samuel in November after he was medically cleared, and in six games, he flashed the skills that made him a second-round pick. This move gives the Steelers an excellent option at slot cornerback and lets them focus on an outside cornerback in free agency or via the 2026 NFL draft.
