The Cleveland Browns have re-signed an offensive guard to bring back another piece along their offensive line. Teven Jenkins is back with the team after spending the 2025 season in Cleveland as they continue to work in NFL free agency.
Jenkins, a former second round pick of the Chicago Bears, came to Cleveland last year after four years in the Windy City. He started four games for the Browns a year ago after the team opted to bench Wyatt Teller to give Jenkins more playing time.

The contract details of Jenkins’ re-signing have not been disclosed yet, so we do not know what kind of money or the terms of the agreement are yet. Once we can see how much money Jenkins is getting paid, a better indication can be had as to whether Jenkins is expected to be the starting right guard or if he is penciled in as a backup.
We will also have a better indication on what this could mean for the future of Joel Bitonio.
Browns continue to rebuild the offensive line
Cleveland has spent much of their assets on reworking the offensive line after three years of downright putrid trench play. They have traded for former first round pick Tytus Howard (and extended him), signed another former first round pick in Zion Johnson to man one of the offensive guard spots, and have now re-signed Jenkins.

The Athletic’s Diana Russini even reported the Browns were key players for another former first round pick in Alijah Vera-Tucker, who opted to sign with the New England Patriots. Are the Browns done adding to the offensive line in NFL free agency, or do they view Jenkins as a reserve piece as they pursue another offensive guard like Chris Paul?
