Why would we think otherwise?

We’ve known Trey Hendrickson’s gonna be a free agent for months, and we basically knew the price tag.

So is it possible that the Ravens actually did get Maxx Crosby in, had this in-person physical examination?

We’re not quite sure about his health.

I don’t see why that’s such a hard thing for people to understand.

May I offer this?

Ravens do the deal, they get him in there, they look at his knee, and they probably go, “Oh, boy.

This thing’s got like a year left.”

Potentially, pure speculation.

Let’s see if Trey Hendrickson is available.

Because we badly need an edge rusher, we can go meet the Trey Hendrickson level that he thought he deserved because we are desperate, and we’re not gonna pay Maxx now.

The Ravens now have Trey Hendrickson for less money and two first-round picks.

Okay, maybe the Raiders were really counting on that money off their books.

But Maxx Crosby is now back in.

Okay, Maxx Crosby doesn’t get to go to the Ravens, but he comes back to a way more talented team than he left.

Who actually really lost here?
