A Carolina Panthers free agent is reportedly going right back to where the team got him from.

According to NFL insider Jordan Schultz, the Seattle Seahawks have agreed to terms on a deal with now-former Panthers safety D’Anthony Bell. Bell joined Carolina late in the 2025 after he was claimed off waivers from Seattle on New Year’s Eve.

After splitting his collegiate career between Albany State, Iowa Central Community College, Butler Community College and the University of West Florida, Bell cracked into the NFL as an undrafted free agent with the Cleveland Browns in 2022. He’d appear in 50 games over three seasons for Cleveland—where he amassed 61 combined tackles, two interceptions and a forced fumble.

Bell was a member of the Panthers roster for their final two games of the 2025 campaign, including their wild-card round loss to the Los Angeles Rams. He did not record a snap in either outing.
