Details of tight end Julian Hill’s deal with the New England Patriots in free agency were revealed on Thursday.

According to ESPN’s Mike Reiss, Hill’s three-year deal with the Patriots is worth up to $18 million.

Hill struck a deal with the Patriots shortly after the NFL’s free agency signing window opened on Wednesday at 4 p.m. ET. The North Carolina native made his decision to sign with the Patriots after hitting the open market in 2026 as an unrestricted free agent.

Hill previously signed a three-year, $2.7 million deal with the Miami Dolphins in 2023 as an undrafted free agent.

The 25-year-old went for 140 yards on 15 receptions in 2025. Hill also registered a 75 percent catch rate for the Dolphins last season. His career-highs in all three of those departments added to his value in free agency. Hill heads to New England on the most lucrative contract of his career in 2026.
