The Chicago Bears on Friday announced that the club has re-signed offensive lineman Braxton Jones to a one-year contract. Additionally, the Bears have signed defensive back Cam Lewis to a two-year contract and defensive lineman Kentavius Street to a one-year contract.

Jones returns to Chicago in 2026 after spending the first four years of his career with the franchise (2022-25). Over four seasons of action for the Bears, Jones has started 44-of-46 career games played at left tackle for Chicago. Jones started each of the first four games of the season at left tackle for the Bears in 2025, before being placed on Reserve/Injured prior to Week 8. Entering the league as a fifth-round selection (168th overall) by the Bears in 2022, Jones started all 17 games at left tackle for Chicago in his first NFL season, earning PFWA All-Rookie Team recognition. A native of Murray, Utah, Jones prepped at Southern Utah (2017-21), capping his collegiate tenure as an AP FCS First-Team All-America selection in 2021, adding First-Team All-Big Sky Conference acknowledgement.

Lewis joins the Bears in 2026 after spending his first six NFL seasons as a member of the Buffalo Bills (2019-25). An undrafted free agent by Buffalo in 2020, Lewis totaled 76 career regular-season games played (14 starts) over his six seasons with the Bills, appearing in all 17 regular-season games in each of the last three seasons for Buffalo. Lewis has amassed 136 career tackles (98 solo), 11 passes defensed, one interception and three forced fumbles in the regular season, as well as 31 special teams tackles. In the postseason, Lewis appeared in 11 career games, including a starting nod in the AFC Divisional Round matchup in 2025 against the Denver Broncos, totaling a career-high 10 tackles (six solo) and two passes defensed. A Detroit, Mich., native, Lewis prepped at Buffalo (2015-18), earning Second-Team All-Mid-American Conference selection following his final season with the Bulls (2018) after leading Buffalo in interceptions (three) and passes defensed (six).
