The Los Angeles Rams may not stop at one blockbuster trade in 2026. They could be trying to make another.

According to The Athletic, the Rams and New England Patriots are two teams that are “making strong pushes” to trade for Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver A.J. Brown, who has been the subject of trade talks all winter.

The Eagles’ asking price has been high but recent reports have indicated they’re willing to come down, which could be why talks are heating up. The Rams already traded the No. 29 pick for Trent McDuffie and it’s hard to imagine they’ll give up the 13th pick for Brown, so it’d have to be either a future first or a package of later picks.

Brown was unhappy with his role on offense last season and has expressed his frustration, potentially pushing his way out of Philadelphia if the Eagles bite on a trade.

Though the Rams already have Puka Nacua and Davante Adams, they’re aggressively pursuing more playmakers on offense. Whether it’s by trading for Brown or drafting a receiver/tight end early, it’s clear Les Snead and Sean McVay aren’t done adding skill players.
