Hailee Steinfeld poses on the red carpet at the 2026 Golden Globe awards.

Hailee Steinfeld is close to unveiling her newest project — the due date for her first baby with husband Josh Allen.

The “Sinners” actress is nearing the arrival of the couple’s first child, which could have a big impact on Allen’s offseason plans with the Buffalo Bills. The couple has given some hints about when their baby is set to arrive, which could be very near on the horizon.

Steinfeld’s pregnancy is getting plenty of attention amid the Oscars, where her “Sinners” is nominated for a record 16 awards.

When is Hailee Steinfeld’s Due Date?

While neither Steinfeld nor Allen have revealed the exact due date for their child, the couple have dropped hints indicating it will be very soon. USA Today’s Robert Zeglinski predicted that their baby could be coming within the next two weeks.

“Outside of a social media post here and there (they revealed Steinfeld was pregnant in mid-December), Allen and Steinfeld have been appropriately cryptic about their baby plans,” Zeglinski wrote. “In a beautiful family moment like this, privacy is obviously of the utmost importance. Everyone knows that. Fans have speculated that Allen and Steinfeld waited until at least the second trimester (roughly weeks 14-27) to reveal that they were expecting. That would place a potential due date around some time in March 2026, which feels very soon!”

Steinfeld already showed off her baby bump at the Golden Globe Awards in January, showing that she was already fast approaching her due date. A video of her arrival on the red carpet captured some viral attention, leading to speculation about when the baby would arrive.

The actress later shared some images from a pregnancy photo shoot with Allen, where she gave more glimpses of her baby bump.

Steinfeld’s expected due date could put Allen at risk of missing some of the team’s early practices, which take place in April. Their early OTAs are optional, and Allen skipped some last year when he and Steinfeld tied the knot in late May.

The Bills generally hold their mandatory minicamp in early June, which could give Allen the chance to return in time to prepare for the season.

Josh Allen Excited to Become a Dad

Allen has shared his excitement about becoming a father, saying at the team’s introductory press conference for new head coach Joe Brady that he’s been yearning to have kids.

“I’ve got siblings that have kids, I’ve got a lot of friends that have kids. I don’t know if you can plan too far in advance,” Allen said. “So I’m very much looking forward to that with my wife, of becoming a dad. It’s something that I will take with great pride. And we’re going to have to figure things out on the go, just like anything else.”

Allen added that this will become the most important thing he’s ever done.

“But this is the most important thing I’ll ever be in my life, being a dad,” Allen said. “And I know I love being a football player, and I love being a quarterback for the Buffalo Bills. But I’m looking forward to this one.”
