The Pittsburgh Steelers are hosting a pair of NFL Combine standouts on pre-draft visits to UPMC Rooney Sports Complex on Monday.

Cincinnati wide receiver Jeff Caldwell and Kentucky wide receiver Kendrick Law both turned heads with their performances at the NFL Combine — for very different reasons — and the Steelers decided they want a closer look at both players before the 2026 NFL Draft.

Caldwell was one of the fastest receivers to run the 40-yard dash, posting a 4.31-second 40 time. That matched elite measurables across the board for Caldwell, who measured in at 6-foot-5, 216 pounds and posted a 42-inch vertical and an 11-foot-2 broad jump for a perfect 10.00 Relative Athletic Score.

A Louisville native, Caldwell started collegiately at Division-II Lindenwood before transferring to Cincinnati for his final season of NCAA eligibility in 2025. With the Bearcats, he played 13 games and caught 32 passes for 478 yards and six touchdowns.

Caldwell is currently projected as the No. 161 player in the 2026 NFL Draft, according to the NFL Mock Draft Database consensus big board, which happens to be exactly where the Steelers pick in the fifth round.

Law put up 21 bench press reps, the third-most among wide receivers, and also posted a 42-inch vertical jump, the same as Caldwell. They tied for the second-highest vertical jumps out of the combine field.

While Caldwell is huge, Law is slightly undersized at 5-foot-11, giving him a 9.60 RAS.

Law transferred the other way, starting his college career at Alabama as a big-time prospect out of Shreveport, Louisiana. After three years of being unable to break into the rotation with the Crimson Tide, he transferred to Kentucky, where he caught 53 passes for 540 yards and three touchdowns.

Law is ranked right behind Caldwell on the big board at No. 180 overall, and could also be an option for the Steelers in the fifth or sixth round.
