As the Cleveland Browns continue to bring in 2026 NFL Draft prospects on pre-draft visits, they are set to bring in another local player. Toledo standout safety Emmanuel McNeil-Warren is set to visit Berea, per himself appearing on the Kay Adams Show.

McNeil-Warren now joins a list of prospects, including wide receivers Jordyn Tyson, Carnell Tate, Makai Lemon, and Omar Cooper Jr., and more, who have already visited the Browns leading up to the NFL Draft at the end of April. The Toledo star is the first defensive player who has been reported to visit the Browns.

The Browns have not signed a safety in NFL free agency yet, outside of tendering Ronnie Hickman Jr., so adding a young one early in the draft is not off the table.

What Emmanuel McNeil-Warren could bring to the Browns?

McNeil-Warren has a ton of experience and a ton of high-level experience. Some even see the Toledo safety as a potential first round pick in the NFL Draft. If the Browns want to bring McNeil-Warren to Cleveland, the latest they would be able to select him is with the 39th overall pick.

He has experience playing both single-high looks and split-field, two-high looks. In new defensive coordinator Mike Rutenberg’s scheme, he would be a smart and rotational player who could wear a ton of hats like Xavier Watts did for the Browns’ defensive coordinator a year ago with the Atlanta Falcons.
