Philadelphia struck a huge deal on Day 2, landing cornerback Riq Woolen after losing three defensive starters on Monday. The Eagles added Dallas Goeder to the list of signed players on Sunday afternoon. Week two of the process is set to begin, and there are plenty of talented free agents remaining on the open market. The 2026 NFL free agency period officially kicked off last Wednesday, but a majority of the star-studded deals were agreed to on Monday and Tuesday, during the opening of the league’s legal tampering window.

There’s still good talent looking for a team, and with the second phase of free agency set to begin, we’re looking at the 14 former Eagles available on the open market via Over The Cap.

OLB Haason Reddick

Reddick recorded 31 tackles (18 solo), including 2.5 sacks, one pass defensed, and one forced fumble in 13 regular-season games in 2025.

OL Mekhi Becton

Becton faced challenges last season after signing a two-year, $20 million contract with the Chargers last March. The six-year veteran struggled with injuries throughout the season and expressed frustration with the Chargers at one point last November.

DE Derek Barnett

Barnett logged 21 tackles (13 solo), including 5.0 sacks, in 17 regular-season games with the Texans in 2025. The ninth-year veteran operated mostly in a rotational role on Houston’s defensive line.

RB Raheem Mostert

Mostert appeared in 12 games for the Raiders last season and finished the 2025 season with 22 carries for 104 yards, along with 12 catches (on as many targets) for 70 yards.

CB Rasul Douglas

Douglas made 62 tackles (37 solo), including 1.0 sacks, in 15 regular-season appearances with the Dolphins in 2025, logging 13 passes defensed, including two interceptions, and one forced fumble.

CB Avonte Maddox

Maddox recorded 32 tackles (23 solo) with four passes defensed, including one interception, and one forced fumble in 14 regular-season games with the Lions in 2025. He logged over 300 defensive snaps for the second straight year.

QB Carson Wentz

Wentz will be an option for teams seeking veteran backups who can also serve as mentors to younger quarterbacks. Wentz underwent season-ending surgery to repair a left shoulder injury he initially suffered on October 5 while playing in place of injured starter J.J. McCarthy. Wentz, 32, made NFL history this season by starting at least one game for his sixth different team in the past six seasons. The Vikings signed Wentz on August 24 to serve as McCarthy’s backup after they traded away Sam Howell to his former team, the Philadelphia Eagles.

DeAndre Carter

The Browns placed Carter (knee) on injured reserve Monday, after the wide receiver, who has been Cleveland’s top returner on kickoffs and punts, sustained a knee injury during the Browns’ 34-10 loss to the Lions.

OL Kayode Awosika

Awosika allowed three sacks on 287 snaps.

RB Miles Sanders

Sanders suffered a lower-body injury in Week 4 against the Packers and finished the 2025 season with 20 carries for 117 yards and one touchdown and eight catches (on eight targets) for 30 yards in parts of four games.

LB Zach Cunningham

Cunningham had five tackles in 2025 after suffering a hamstring injury.

DB Jalen Mills

Mills had ten tackles and one pass defended in seven total appearances with the Texans and Lions.

LB Devin White

In the 2025 season, White recorded a total of 174 tackles, including 95 solo tackles. He also achieved 2.5 sacks, defended three passes (one of which resulted in an interception), and forced one fumble over the course of 17 games. White’s impressive 174 tackles not only set a career high for him but also placed him third in the NFL, trailing only First Team All-Pro selections Jordyn Brooks from Miami and Jack Campbell from Detroit.
