Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen’s wife Hailee Steinfeld is sharing a personal update as she prepares to be a first-time mother.
Quarterback Josh Allen of the Buffalo Bills is enjoying a busy offseason in his personal life, since he and his wife, actress Hailee Steinfeld, are preparing to be first-time parents. On Tuesday, March 17, Steinfeld took to her newsletter to share a personal update about the pregnancy.
Last weekend’s was a significant one for Steinfeld, because her film, “Sinners,” was up for 16 Oscars, including Best Picture, Best Actor for Michael B. Jordan and Best Actor in a Supporting Role for Delroy Lindo. Those 16 nominations gave “Sinners” a record for the most nominations in the history of the Academy Awards.
Since Steinfeld and Allen are expecting their first baby, she skipped the ceremony, but she watched from home. But, as it turns out, Steinfeld had a private event over the weekend that had nothing to do with the Oscars.
Hailee Steinfeld Shares Personal Update on Her Pregnancy
On Saturday, March 14, Steinfeld had her official baby show, and she’s sharing personal details from the event with her readers. Steinfeld has a newsletter called the “Beau Society,” and she took to the letter to describe her magical shower.
“On a sunny Saturday in L.A., my mom and about 30 women I love so much gathered in my most comfortable place — my backyard — for a baby shower,” she stated in the post. So, she didn’t have the shower in Buffalo, New York, but we won’t hold that against her.
“My mom planned the entire gorgeous thing,” she added. “I sent her a few photos from my ‘Saving this for if I ever have a baby shower’ folder. From a ‘Mother Goose’ reference and a swatch of gingham, she pieced it all together.”
Steinfeld gushed over the event, noting, “Looking around and seeing this amazing group of women all together celebrating me in this moment meant so much. I can’t believe that this little person, who no one has even met yet, is so loved.”
She also gave a shout-out to her film family at the Oscars in the post, stating that she “cried the whole show.” She added, “It was a magical night watching my entire ‘Sinners’ family shine.”
Hailee Steinfeld’s ‘Sinners’ Notched 4 Academy Awards in 2026
“Sinners” was up for 16 Oscars and went home with a total of four awards: Best Original Screenplay for Ryan Coogler, Best Actor for Michael B. Jordan, Best Cinematography for Autumn Durald Arkapaw and Best Original Score for Ludwig Göransson.
So, it didn’t win Best Picture, which instead went to “One Battle After Another,” but it picked up key awards, including one for Jordan, who starred opposite Steinfeld in the movie.
Winning Best Picture would have been the cherry on top, but going home with four solid Oscars, including one for her co-star, was still good news for Steinfeld’s latest feature film.
Jordan gave Steinfeld a nice shout-out when he accepted his award, as well, stating, “Hailee at home, you know, she’s you know, get ready to have a baby right now. Thank you so much for being the other other other half of Stack.”
