Sacramento State football held its first spring practice on Tuesday under new head coach Alonzo Carter, as the Hornets gear up for their inaugural season in the Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) and the Mid-American Conference (MAC). The team features a mix of 54 returning players and 44 newcomers, and as in previous years, expectations are high as they aim to compete in the MAC.
